Whitney Dunlap joined the Athletic Development Staff as Director of Athletic Special Events on November 1, 2008.  Whitney comes to Duke from Los Angeles, CA where she worked at the UCLA Anderson School of Management for the past year and a half.  Prior to UCLA, Whitney worked in film for 3 years as a Productions Assistant and in Extras Casting in both Los Angeles and Wilmington, NC.

Whitney graduated from Duke University in 2001 with a degree in Literature.  At Duke, she was a member of the rowing team and was a captain her senior year.  Whitney worked in the Athletics Development Office in from 2001-2003 as an intern with Athletics Special Events.

Whitney is originally from Richmond, VA, and now lives in Durham with her two dogs Riggins and Landry.
