The Varsity Club was established in 1987 with the goal of setting up a better network of communication between the department of athletics and its former athletes and the parents of our current athletes. Varsity Club members receive regular newsletters, Blue Devil Weekly subscription, and press guides as well as invitations to reunions, receptions, TV viewing parties, and other events throughout the year.
The Varsity Club, which has grown to over 2,500 members, is a branch of the Iron Dukes but its financial objective is quite different. The Iron Duke organization provides scholarship assistance to our athletes. Contributions to the Varsity Club go directly to the operating budget of each individual sport.
