We ask every member of the Duke Football family to make two types of gifts to support the program; the first is a gift to the Iron Dukes and the second is a gift to the Football Enhancement Fund or Varsity Club.Your gift to the Iron Dukes ($100+) will help provide for scholarships awarded to football players, and your gift to the Football Enhancement Fund ($7,000+) or Varsity Club ($100 - $6,999) will provide for special projects and operating needs.
As you are hopefully aware, Coach Cutcliffe has aspirations and a clear vision for the future of the program. Fulfilling those aspirations will require significant resources, and while we are sensitive to the setbacks some have faced, we must continue to seek your support despite the current economic climate. In fact, we need your support more now than ever before.A central reason for Duke’s success in the past has been its ability to meet challenges with help from supporters like you; that will be true in the future, too.
My phone numbers and email are below, so please feel free to call or email me if you have any questions about supporting the program.Thank you for your consideration, and I hope to visit with you soon.
The mission of the Football Enhancement Fund (FEF) is to build a championship program by bringing together a team of donors to partner with Head Football Coach David Cutcliffe in his pursuit of excellence. Donors who make an annual gift of $7,000 or more to the FEF will be considered active partners and will receive exclusive benefits and an inside look at the Duke Football program. While the FEF will be annual in nature, it will also allow us to recognize donors who make endowment, capital project, and planned gifts. Your commitment to the FEF and Duke Football will allow our program to have the opportunity to compete on a level playing field with our competitors so that one day soon we can again be recognized as one of the nation's elite programs.

Endowment Giving
An endowment is a permanent, self-sustaining source of funding, Endowment assets are invested, and each year a portion of the earnings is paid out for the purpose of the fund and the rest is used to build the fund's market value. In this way, an endowment fund can grow and can provide support for Duke Football in perpetuity. When you establish an endowment fund, you create a permanent legacy of support for Duke Football.Naming opportunities begin at $100,000, and all Endowment gifts are payable over five years. Upon completion of Endowment gifts, partners must make a new commitment equal to or greater than the annual Eddie Cameron level.
$5,000,000 Head Coach $1,000,000 Full Scholarship or Assistant Coach $500,000 Half Scholarship $250,000 Restricted Scholarship $100,000 Partial Scholarship
Capital Projects
The Football Enhancement Fund will also help finance football related projects. The importance of having great facilities is not only to recruit top student-athletes, but to enhance the game-day atmosphere for you, or supporters and fans. Future plans include the construction of a new indoor practice facility, extension of the turf and grass practice fields, construction of a new visitor's locker room and storage facility, and renovations to Wallace Wade Stadium which would include but is not limited to suites, club seats, etc. More information will be forthcoming.
