As the opening tip is upon us, here are a few reminders for the upcoming season:
Iron Dukes parking for the 2009-10 season will begin with Countdown to Craziness on October 16th and will remain in effect for the remainder of the season, with the one exception. Men's Basketball parking will not be in effect for the Pfeiffer game on Saturday, October 24h, due to the home football game on this date. Only Iron Dukes football parking passes will be permitted in the parking lots on this date.
If you are a season ticket holder and cannot attend a home basketball game, tickets can be turned into the Iron Dukes and be redistributed among other members through the Ticket Exchange progam. Tickets can be donated by calling the Ticket Exchange Line at 919-385-TIXS (8497), and must be mailed back to the Iron Dukes at 116 Cameron Indoor Stadium, Box 90542, Durham, NC 27708. The Iron Dukes office must be notified of seat availability at least 48 hours prior to tip-off of any given game. For more information on the Ticket Exchange, click here.
The annual Iron Dukes pre-game party will be held prior to the Duke/UNC game on Saturday, March 6th at 7:30 PM in Card Gym. Tip-off for the game is at 9 PM. Due to cost containment measures in Duke Athletics, admittance for the pre-game party is $10/adult and $5/children (ages 3-10).
