We are very excited to announce a new initiative for 2009-10:  The Iron Dukes New Devils Program.  The purpose of the New Devils Program is to help strengthen the foundation of the Iron Dukes by growing our membership base.

Below, you will see how you can refer a new member to the Iron Dukes through the New Devils Program.  A new member is any individual who gives $100 or more to the Iron Dukes annual fund for the first time or has not made a gift to the Iron Dukes in the past two years.  All Duke fans are prospective Iron Dukes members.  This includes alumni, former student-athletes, parents, and fans of Duke Athletics.  For every new member that you refer through the New Devils Program, you will receive $100 worth of giving credit that will be applied to your Iron Dukes priority.

Help us achieve all of our goals and embark on a new era of Duke Athletics by participating in the New Devils Program and referring at least one new member to the Iron Dukes this year.

How to Refer a New Member

Direct your prospective Iron Dukes member to IronDukes.net and our online giving site which is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  Online giving is by far the quickest and most convenient way to make a gift to the Iron Dukes.  Be sure the new member references your number in the “Comments” section on our online giving site at the bottom of the page.

You can email the name and contact information of your prospective member to us at IronDukes@duaa.duke.edu.  We will send the individual information on becoming a member of the Iron Dukes.  Again, be sure the prospective member references your name or Iron Dukes member number in the “Referred By” box in the bottom left-hand corner of the pledge card.

New members can also join by calling the Iron Dukes Office at (919) 613-7575.  A member of the Iron Dukes office staff will gladly assist them in joining the Iron Dukes.  Be sure the new member references your name or Iron Dukes member number when joining.
